About The Observatory
By BudWheizzah

The BDO Space Observatory is an ideal site in Bromont, Québec for a long, all-night session of deep sky observation. Wether you're just sitting out on the porch, gazing at the sky with the unaided eye, giving yourself a boost with a pair of binoculars or outright peering in there with a telescope, you're bound to have a great view; good enough to notice several objects you know about.

But it's not just about the sky: Everything is perfect over there. The house has everything the crew needs for those long nights, including beer, food, warmth, beer, fire, rolling papers, beer (ok, not so much beer, we've a telescope to operate), electricity and a place to chill when the sky screws us over. The huge outside area has a total of four areas with chairs, a table, and a flat ground. Each small area is well appart from the next, so we can pick from very different angles to setup from.

On nights where we do a lot of sky imaging (photography), there will be a lot of waiting to do... this is where we'll be glad there's a house, and outside, chairs and tables... and a nice unaided eye view of the sky.
